YOGESH DUTT

Chef Pâtissier · Hospitality Adviser · Independent Researcher

Pastry has taken me through luxury hotels, professional kitchens, and cultures across Europe, the Middle East, and North America — from Delhi to Abu Dhabi, from the fjords of Norway to the baroque palaces of Dresden.

Along the way, I came to understand that pastry was never simply a craft.

It became a way of reading hospitality. How atmosphere is created. How service finds its rhythm. How the smallest details shape the memories guests carry home.

Today, I collaborate with hotels, resorts, and hospitality brands to create experiences defined by craftsmanship, intention, and lasting impression.

ABODE OF YOGI Where Pastry Becomes Hospitality

The finest hospitality is rarely remembered for what was served alone.

It is remembered for how it made people feel. The quiet anticipation before afternoon tea. The elegance of a carefully crafted dessert. The warmth of genuine welcome. The conversations that continue long after the final bite.

These moments do not happen by chance. They are shaped through intention.

Pastry taught me precision. Hospitality taught me meaning.

Abode of Yogi brings those lessons together — a practice where pastry, ritual, and guest experience are explored through simplicity, craftsmanship, and care. It is also where I publish independent research on luxury hospitality, including the Global Luxury Hospitality Hierarchy: a framework for understanding what the world's finest hotel brands do differently.

MY PHILOSOPHY

There is another way to think about sweetness.

Not as reward. Not as excess. But as care made visible — crafted with intention, shared with presence, remembered long after the final bite.

Luxury is not abundance. It is intent made visible, consistently, across every encounter.

People may forget what was served. They rarely forget how they were made to feel.

INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE

Germany · France · Norway · Canada · United Arab Emirates · India

Working across cultures has shown me that while traditions differ, exceptional hospitality speaks a universal language — generosity, precision, and genuine care.

BEGIN A CONVERSATION

Whether you are shaping a pastry programme, reimagining afternoon tea, or exploring a new hospitality concept, I welcome the opportunity to begin a conversation.

Based in Germany. Working internationally.

There is a different way to think about sweetness.

Not as reward.

Not as excess.

But as care made visible.

Crafted with intention.

Shared with presence.

Remembered long after the final bite.

Because the finest expressions of hospitality are often the quietest.

This belief sits at the heart of Abode of Yogi.
